In 2022, Conservation Trust for North Carolina (CTNC) commissioned Farallon Strategies to examine the landscape for climate and resilience service in North Carolina.
As part of this work, a survey was developed and distributed that was intended to help CTNC "understand the role service programs can play in equipping communities with the resources necessary to build greater community resilience."
This survey included the following sections.
- Definitions of climate resilience and service — to help frame the survey and provide respondents with context
- Organization information — to help profile respondents in terms of organizational structure, location, and communities served
- Climate resilience challenges — to help outline the specific risks faced by respondents
- Subject areas and roles — to describe the possible service support desired
- Interest in support — to capture levels of interest in support from service programming
