Collecting information about the emissions data in your state can provide insight into where potential members may fit into the workforce as well as what industries are contributing to climate change impacts in your state. The emissions data can also provide a more complete picture when you are completing your state climate profile on risks and plans, as the policies and plans may be a result of the emissions data collected in your state.
The Environmental Protection Agency has a tool called the Data Explorer to help you find emissions data broken down by state. On the Data Explorer webpage, scroll down to the series of options for selection. Based on what you are looking for, filter down the results by:
Once you make the selections, you will see graphs and changes and trends over time, and you will have the option to download the data into various forms.
